Computer Science Projects
The 5th grades classes are participating in a Computer Science Pilot Program through CPS. Students will be identifying a problem in their community, researching that problem and coming up with possible solutions. We will share our research findings with all of you in early May. As a part of this program, students will be working with two programs, Yahki and MME MOE. Yahki is a tool that will help the students collect and organize their research, receive feedback from CPS teachers, students and administrators and view other students' work on this project. MME MOE is a reflective tool where students can track their progress with this project. Information on MME MOE will be shared with me, so that I may address concerns students may have. This is an on going process. No firm due dates have been set, but once they are, I will let you know.
